Come... Take a seat... Enjoy the view!

Passed by this place when I was on the way back to my car. I quickly unpacked my gear and took a 15 seconds exposure before anyone passed by.

I simply love how the warm and cold light work together here.

Inverpolly Panorama

This was really the reason I headed over to the west between Xmas and New Year. The weather was incredible and having already been up Stac Pollaidh early in the morning I headed for Lochinver and Glencanisp.

This pano was taken on the way back home as the light was fading over the Summer Isles. Originally 20 images, I stitched them manually in photoshop and after some time this was the result; an image over 17000 pixels wide.

I think I should have left more space on the left beside Suilven but apart from that I just feel priviledged to have been there and viewed this. I will return.

From left to right - The peaks of Suilven, Cul Mor, Cul Beag and Stac Pollaidh looking across Inverpolly. This pano takes in over 9 miles of view.

I always stop at this place on my trips to Glencoe, but seldom this early... the light was superb on this morning... and the River Etive, as ever, stunning!!
