One of my favourite places in the entire country, it NEVER fails to impress. Taken on a week long shoot of the Isles of Skye, Lewis, Harris and the Western Highlands.

Loch Dochfour

This loch is where the River Ness starts and also splits to from the eastern section of the Caledonian Canal. It also joins Loch Ness about 1/2 a mile form the centre of the image and is where Jacobite Cruises head along on the way to Urquhart Castle.

This year I made a decision to start using film again, as much as I love digital I think that film has a certain little extra that you don't get from digital. Its all subjective of course.

This photo was taken at Seacliffe, East Lothian in May not long after sunset.

I used a Mamiya M645J and 45mm lens with Fuji Velvia 50. Image was scanned on a Nikon 9000ED.
