HMS Clyde berthed at Custom House Quay, Greenock, sits in front of a blazing sunset. The single armed guard has to stand with his back to the colour and watch me snapping away merrily, and a couple of neds doing likewise with their camera phone.
It must be hard to be in the military. "Come see the world." Should read..... "travel the world, watch the local neds."
