Hi Tom, the blogability is set by the owner on Flickr and is made available to no one / all Flickr users / only contacts etc. as the user wishes.
Usually if there is an All Sizes button above the image on its Flickr page that provides code for adding the image to a blog along with the required credit.
Thanks Colin! I only ask because someone got very shirty with me recently for linking to their picture in a comment actually ON flickr itself! I'd have thought they'd have been flattered by the attention, but there's no accounting for folks, eh?
does "all rights reserved" allow images to be blogged?

ReplyDeleteYeah that's a little contraaary I think. People shouldn't put their photos online if they don't want people to link to them.
