Ducks flying home

Ducks flying home, originally uploaded by Viche.

When I left work tonight, not only was it still light, but the sun was shining. So I rushed home via Loch Leven to see if I could catch the sunset - but it wasn't up to much. So here, as they say in the Best Blue Peter tradition, are two I prepared earlier.

Loch Duntelchaig (not really)

I've just found out it's actually Loch Duntelchaig's little brother, Loch a'Chlachain.

Dawn breaking from Ben Lomond

Dawn breaking from Ben Lomond, originally uploaded by gms.

One of the most memorable moments of my life. A few friends and myself walked up Ben Lomond during a clear moonlit night. As we neared the top, the clouds started to gather and we thought our effort was in vain. As you can see, we were more than rewarded.
On a technical note, I'm delighted that the colours came out in this scan from a negative. NO PHOTOSHOPPING!

Arran

Driving home of an evening, I spotted a particularly nice sunset over the beautiful Isle of Arran. Taken on the Ardrossan to West Kilbride road. Adjusted the curves slightly to bring out the sky. Makes a nice desktop background. Enjoy
