The Trossachs

The Trossachs, originally uploaded by Billy Currie.

This was the view from my bivvy on Friday night as we had hiked up Ben Ledi (2884ft) after work to get both sunset and sunrise shots.

We arrived at the summit just before sunset and had to get straight into our bags as it was soooooo cold. Once the sun went down I leaned out, took these shots and crawled straight back into my cozy bag.

Had fun up the Law Hill trying new things, as usual Ben was willing to pose, unfortunately for him the sun was gone by the time I got bored so he didn't get any pics hehe, however I'm sure he will get me to return the favour some day.

The Last Shot

The Last Shot..., originally uploaded by joe~.

Taken at Balmerino over looking the Tay a couple of weeks back. The sunset had been spectacular but due to time constraints had to leave, had already taken my ' last shot' and had moved to pack up.
Had already packed away half my gear when I couldn't resist just taking one more.
Ended up being one of my favourite shots from the trip.

Taken at f20, ISO 100 with an exposure of 30 seconds to get some movement in the seaweed and in the bank of grey cloud at the top of the photo.
