Findhorn Sunset
“It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream.”~ Bern Williams
I took this pic while we were travelling back from the theatre in Inverness. It was such a balmy evening that we stopped off at Findhorn on the way home. We had a coffee and spent the hour before sunset watching the world by…the end of a perfect day. As the quote suggests, this is the stuff that dreams are made of.

Caledonian Canal - Clachnaharry
Sunset over the final lock on the Caledonian Canal looking across the Beauly Firth towards North Kessock and the Black Isle in the distance.
The wooden jetty provides a spot for boats to tie up before tackling either the Moray Firth or the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness.

Caledonian Canal - Clachnaharry
This is the final set of lock gates on the Caledonian Canal before the Beauly Firth. The Lock Keepers Cottage acts as a sentinal as the sun sets and creates a stunning reflection in the inky water.
The sky reminded me of a shot I took at sunrise of the Infirmary Bridge in Inverness.
