At Scotland's Edge

Cape Wrath Lighthouse, Sutherland, Scotland.

"Designed by Robert Stevenson and first lit in 1828, the lighthouse marks the most north-westerly point of the British mainland. The construction of the lighthouse required an 11 mile road to be built.

A spectacular and wild place. The name Cape Wrath derives from the norse for 'turning point'." – Ian Cowe
